Reflection -- Farlina

From this CSI project , I learnt to be more responsible in doing my own part of the project assigned to me . I also learrt to cooperate with others . I hope to be able to participate in theese kinds of project in future .

Although I didn't really helped , I felt that the CSI blog looks ok and I had fun at the end . The most memorable thing is when I analyzed the fibre found at the crime scene . Its was cool and I got to see through the microscope . And after some analysis , the fibre matches the one Maria was wearing . And nevertheless we made a huge amount of noise and we still could catch up onto our work . It is a good target and we realised that we were lack of evidence . We didn't panic and we borrowed the evidence from the other groups . Even though I think its wrong but I know its the evidence that counts .

I enjoyed the project very much . I hope there will be more of these projects soon as this project is the bestest one i've done in my whole schooling life and I hope there will be more exciting ones coming ! :D

Reflection -- Addly

During the project I have learnt that not only teamwork make things work faster it also help to trust one another. If there are more group project I would like to have more group members in it so that it would be convinient to the group as there will be many hands to help out . The CSI project made me improve on my science cause due to the experiments we have done at the lab to analyze the evidence found at the crime scene . I like the part where we test the blood type and try to compare the handwritings with the notes we found at the crime scene .

If I had the chance to be a real CSI investigator , I would really work hard to solve the murder case cause it makes me feel excited whenever I found out who was the culprit . I tried to think like a real investigator and it really worked on to find the murderer of the Lois R ANG . In my view , I think being a note taker in the investigation is hard work as I should take down moslty everything about the crime scene and it made my hand hurt somehow .

If there is more projects like this , I am pretty sure I would be delighted to participate.

Reflection -- AMALINA

This CSI project teaches me on why is science important. Since back then I didn't really know what science does to my life but it really does now . The CSI project helps us to work together and try to get along with each other. I really enjoy this project cause it involve IT equipment and nevertheless pretending to be one of the CSI people just like those in televisions .

The first day when Ms Liow told us that we had to investigate the crime scene it tells me that I should think like a real CSI investigator and behave like one too . Once we enter that room , the first thing that popped out of my mind was finding the right evidence found by the dead body . Even though its not real , it does seems interesting . Some of my friends say that the CSI project is hard and they don't even know what to do . Whenever I heard that , I think of this project in a good way and it was really easy . The passion began when we were in the lab . We discovered many similarities with the ones Mr Gilbert Tan gave and the ones we found at the scene . But sometimes , some of my teammates doesn't seem to like to share their thoughts with the team . Its alright cause maybe he/she is shy .

I really enjoyed the whole thing plus the blog seems pretty ok by the work of me and my teammates . The hours and hours infront of the computer is finally paid off and I'm satisfied with the time limit . I hope that there will be more kinds of these projects coming cause I can't wait !

Reflection -- Nabilah‏

To me, this CSI project teaches us a lesson. Through it, we are able to learn and explore ourselves into a whole new excitement. Never in my life, had I imagined myself of being an investigator, solving through crime. I used to think that being in a CSI team is an easy work. But no, it is not. Before any conclusions could be made, we must go through lab experiments, such as, checking on the fiber, hair analysis, etc. Laboratory works are not that easy either. We need to have a skill of using the microscope. Lucky for me, we had learned of using it during the science lesson, before the CSI project. As a group leader, I need to watch over of my group member’s actions. There are around four jobs for each member. There is the Fiber identification, Hair Analysis, Blood Analysis and Handwriting Analysis.

From my point of view, working in groups is quite challenging. It involves great responsibility, team work and trusting on one another. It is quite troublesome but in the end, everyone feels good after a good team work. By working in groups, we could make out of more ideas to help us in scoring high marks and present our assignments neatly. Another positive view of working in groups is, if it’s one’s mistake, it’s everybody’s. To me, it means that if one’s mistake effects out groups’ project, we could learn a lesson, so that we will not repeat his/hers mistake. Difficulties are often found. For example in my group, difficulties that were common are, “not having enough time” and “not being fit for the job”. These reasons anger me. So how do we ensure that the task is done, which involves each member’s cooperation? The only way to do is to ask form those who are unable to access any internet connections to suggest ideas to the ones that are able to do the job. In this way, we are able to complete the assignments in a fast pace. In my point of view, the Editor, IT Expert, Liasion Officer and the Team Leader need improvement. Even though I am the team leader, I still feel bad for not leading my group to a right path. If I was more aware of my job, I would have handed my group project to the teacher in charge by the original dateline itself. From the scolding and lectures we had gotten from Ms Liow, I realized my mistake. They also build me up a great will to do much, much better in the future. I thank Ms Liow for enabling us to realize our mistake.

Well, the positive side of the project that I enjoy is through learning the occupation of a CSI investigator, having some laugh within ourselves, using new ways of the technology to complete the project and most importantly, learning the great responsibility given for each job, which guides us to have self-discipline for our future. The project given seems perfect to me. So, not much improvement is necessary.

Reflection:glenn

Through teamwork , I learnt that we can do lots of stuff for the project . I also learnt how to spell and know the meaning of the word elaboration . Although at first I didn't get along with my teammates , after working with them it seems that we were close like a panda and its cub.

I really enjoy doing the blood analysis . It made my eye hurt when looking into the microscope . But it was only temporary , after using the microscope afew times , I was ok with the brightness . It really was a good experience . I did imagined being a investigator but I didn't really enjoyed it cause I can't see the sight of blood that much . But overall it was fun .

Our CSI blog seems ok and thanks to the help of Amalina for making the blog and posting for us . I think I have learnt that teammates are helpful and useful . Even though I didn't do much for the team , at least I tried to post some comments . Till here !

Nabilah : Good afternoon maam . So I know you know why you're here .
Amalina : Yeah , pretty much .
Nabilah : So you claimed that you found your girlfriend's body in her room at 1000hrs and you said you wanted to send her to the airport cause she is going to california . *ahem
Amalina : You're telling me that I killed my own girlfriend ? I swear I didn't !
Nabilah : According to my records , yesterday you were the last one with her and it was and hour before she was murdered . Does that reminds you of anything .
Amalina : Hey , yeah I was with her in 2am but I didnt kill her !
Nabilah : *BANGGGG on the table * Don't you lie to me right now . This is a crisis , you're lieing to me about killing a dead woman .
Amalina : I didn't kill her .
Nabilah : How can I be so sure that you didnt kill her huh ? I've got evidence telling me that you went to her room . So what do you say for yourself ?
Amalina : I'll say I didn't kill her . What more answer do you want from me ?!
Nabilah : The truth ! I want the truth ! It will be easier for me and you if you tell the truth .
Amalina : I'll tell you the truth , I didn't kill her !
Nabilah : Liar ! Don't try to like with me right now !
Amalina : I can't take this anymore ,
Nabilah : Take what ?
Amalina : (silent )
Nabilah : Answer me Maria!
Amalina : Lying ( softly)
Nabilah : WHAT ?!
Amalina : Lying ( slightly louder )
Nabilah : Oh come on Maria , I know you can speak louder , I can't hear you ! What did you say ?!
Amalina : LYING ! (Shouts loudly )
Nabilah : Why did you kill her ?
Amalina : (starts crying ) I killed my own bestfriend cause I heard that Luise , my brother was going to do some nasty things to her , I can't let him do that just because he didn't get a certificate from an arts academy . I didn't even bare to see him hurt my best girlfriend .
Nabilah : And you killed her because of your brother . Seee , that was not hard to tell the truth wasn't it ?
Amalina : (stared at Investigator )
Nabilah : I'll thank you for cooperating with me but .. im afraid you're gonna be behind bars for now . Officers take her away .
